If you or groups you work with are looking for a fun, relatively easy way to run something for National Science Week – why not host a SCINEMA screening?

If you are a school, library or community group, register your venue to host a free curated SCINEMA program.  In 2016 we even have a screening taking place on an Antarctic Base Station!

There is a rich and diverse program of films, from a documentary on the virtually unknown scientist behind an incredible number of vaccines still in use today to the funny and moving story of an Aussie garbage collector turned citizen scientist and spider-hunter.

Here’s what you need to do:
1.            Take a look through the programs and decide which one is right for your event
2.            Select a date and time for your event, then register your venue
3.            Promote your event using our digital media pack and self-printing materials
4.            Get the word out through social media using the hashtag #SCINEMA2016 and #natsciwk
5.            For your venue you will need a screen, computer and internet connection to stream your selected program/s
6.            Let us know how it went! Share photos through social media and tag us @RiAus

Help make SCINEMA the number one science film festival in Australia!
