Inspiring Australia Stakeholder Briefing

Please join the NSW Inspiring Australia and National Science Week Executive Committee at this briefing for the science community. This will be an opportunity to discuss the results of the inaugural Sydney Science Festival that was held during National Science Week in August and contribute your ideas to its future directions

In its first year Sydney Science Festival is estimated to have attracted more than 39,000 people to events and activities across the city. How would you like to be involved in this high profile science engagement opportunity in future and what would your organisation like to see included? Current event presenters and all those who would like to be part of this citywide Festival are encouraged to attend.

An update from Inspiring Australia, the national strategy for community engagement with science, will also be provided, including information on the 2016 National Science Week Grants Program that is expected to close in late October.

When: 3.30pm-5pm, Thursday 8 October

Where: NSW Trade and Investment Centre. Level 47, MLC Centre, Martin Place, Sydney

RSVP:  Please confirm your attendance by emailing  inspiring.nsw@sydney.edu.au by Friday 2 October
