Watch TV tonight for some local science!

Fireballs in the Sky, the meteor-tracking science project out of Curtin University will be featured on ABC Catalyst’s season premiere tonight at 8 pm.

The program will explore fireballs, the risks they can be to public safety and the research being done in our backyard to track where they come from in space and where they land. It will also profile the Fireballs in the Sky app – how to use it and what we can do with the data.

This is especially relevant for those who saw the Melbourne fireball last Thursday because data may be submitted well after the fact, and we’re still keen for more data.

Cheers

Jay
