At the Heart Foundation, we are dedicated to reducing the devastating impact of heart disease in Australia. We are committed to helping Australians lead healthier lifestyles and encouraging those most at risk to take better care of their heart health.
We are seeking an experienced, proactive and hands-on communications coordinator to manage the creation and delivery of targeted content for our website and email marketing campaigns.
Reporting to the Marketing Services Manager in the National Marketing and Communications team, this Melbourne based role is responsible for delivering high quality content and working with marketing managers and an online specialist to deliver on communication objectives.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
  • developing the Heart Foundation’s understanding of our target audience, and core messages
  • driving forward content, page structures and user paths for our existing website, and playing a pro-active role in the development of content for our new website
  • working closely with internal stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that Heart Foundation content is relevant, engaging, on-brand and risk compliant
  • working with the marketing services team to develop our tone of voice and brand positioning with numerous audiences
  • leading and delivering our emerging internal communications strategy.
To be successful in this role you’ll need
  • a proven track record in digital content planning, management and SEO
  • prior experience in developing and writing content for consumer audiences
  • knowledge of internet developments and innovations, and best practice content solutions
  • strong stakeholder management and experience working with subject matter experts
  • a passion for good quality written and digital content.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated communications specialist who will play an integral role in the Marketing and Communications team.
