An ‘Out of school’ science experience

Looking to educate and engage students, outside the classroom, while honing your science communication skills?

Get into Genes is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Education Officer for 2014 to actively manage and deliver its program in Victoria. This exciting and challenging position is part-time (3 days a week) and located at Bundoora.

Get into Genes  is an established, award-winning, program that conducts hands-on workshops for secondary school students that highlight the applications of biotechnology in agriculture. Workshops are run at La Trobe University, the University of Melbourne and occasionally as part of outreach tours in regional Victoria.
