You are cordially invited to the Redmap launch
Monday 22 July
Townsville
5pm
Light refreshments available
This event offers
a chance to hear about local fishing and diving, and introduces a nationwide
citizen science website initiative. Redmap (Range Extension Database and
Mapping Project) invites the public to submit photographic sightings of
particular marine animals to help gather information about potential changes in
their distribution. Please register for your free ticket at http://redemperorwearsnoclothes.eventbrite.com.au/ and
bring it along for entry and check out the website (www.redmap.org.au)
Come along for a lovely evening.
P.S. I’m aware
some of you don’t live near Townsville, and so likely won’t be able
to attend. However, we’re excited about the launch of Redmap QLD and just
wanted to make sure you heard the good news. If you can’t attend, perhaps
you’d like to sign up for our quarterly electronic newsletter at www.redmap.org.au, or join us on
Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/RedmapAustralia)
so you can keep up to date with what species are on the move around
Regards
Jayne
