Fourteen presenters will explore how scientific and cultural
organisations can creatively engage communities, using innovative communication
programs and strategies. Featured speakers include:
- Ross Dawson, Chairman of Future Exploration Network and author of Living Networks.
- Shelley Bernstein, New York's Brooklyn Museum, a leader in connecting with communities using social media such as MySpace and Facebook.
- Julian Cribb, Adjunct Professor in Science Communication at the University of Technology Sydney and recipient of 32 awards for journalism.
- Dr Andi Hovarth, science communicator and producer of the weekly radio science broadcast Einstein a Go Go.
