CarbonKids is an exciting new program linking cutting edge science to sustainability education in primary and secondary schools.  We are offering an opportunity for the right person to take a major role in the development of the pilot program.  CarbonKids will offer climate change curriculum material and will raise awareness of carbon sequestration.  CarbonKids is being supported by Shell.

The position starts early in 2009 and will be offered for 18 months with the possibility of extension.  It will be located in Canberra as part of the CSIRO Education team.  Other programs offered by CSIRO Education include Scientists in Schools, Double Helix Science Club, Science by Email, CREST and the national network of CSIRO Science Education Centres.
